King James Translation: “But there was none like unto Ahab, which did sell himself to work wickedness in the sight of the Lord, whom Jezebel his wife stirred up.”

Interlinear Translation: “Surely, none has been as Ahab, who sold himself to do the evil in the eyes of Jehovah, incited whom Jezebel his wife”

Strong’s Concordance Translation: “BUT THERE WAS NONE = absolute negation, less, neither, nought, as truly as of a truth. LIKE UNTO AHAB = brother, i.e. friend of his father. WHICH DID SELL HIMSELF = to sell as merchandise, a daughter in marriage, into slavery or figuratively to surrender. TO WORK = to do or make, accomplish, advance, appoint, bring forth, perform, prepare, provide, serve. WICKEDNESS = adversity, affliction, bad, calamity, distress, grief, harm, hurt, mischief, noisome, wretchedness, wrong. IN THE SIGHT OF THE LORD = an eye, outward appearance, countenance, presence. WHO JEZEBEL = chaste, query sacrifice. HIS WIFE = woman, female. STIRRED UP = to prick, i.e. stimulate, by implication seduce, entice, persuade, provoke, set on, take away.
