Interlinear Translation: “Surely goodness and mercy shall follow me all the days of my life: and I shall dwell in the house of Jehovah for the length of days.”

Strong’s Concordance Translation: “SURELY = only, in any wise, at least, but, certainly, even, howbeit, nevertheless, notwithstanding, only, save, of a surety, truly, verily. GOODNESS = well, beautiful, bountiful, cheerful, at ease, be in favour, fine, glad, joyful, loving, pleasant, pleasure, precious, prosperity, ready, sweet, wealth, welfare, be well favored. AND MERCY = kindness, piety, favor, good deed, kindly, loving kindness, merciful, pity. SHALL FOLLOW ME = to run after, figuratively of time gone by, chase, put to flight, follow after, follow on, pursue. AND I WILL DWELL = to sit down specially as judge in ambush, in quiet, by implication to remain, causative to marry, to settle, make to abide, continue, endure, establish, habitation, make to keep house, lurking, tarry.
