Key Verse: Isaiah 26:3:

King James Translation: “Thou wilt keep him in perfect peace, whose mind is stayed on thee: because he trusteth in thee.”

Interlinear Translation: “the mind stayed on You You will keep in peace, peace; for in You he trusts.”

Strong’s Concordance Translation: “THOU WILT KEEP HIM = to guard in a god sense to protect, maintain, obey, preserve. IN PERFECT PEACE = safe, well, happy, friendly, welfare, i.e. health, prosperity, welfare, to be safe in mind, body, or estate, figuratively to be (causative make) completed, by implication to be friendly, by extension to reciprocate, make amends, make an end, finish, full, give again, make good, peaceable, that is perfect, perform, make prosper, render, make restitution, restore, reward. WHOSE MIND = a form, figuratively conception, i.e. purpose, frame, thing framed, imagination, work. IS STAYED ON THEE = to lean on or take hold, bear up, establish, uphold, lay, lie hard, put, rest self, stand fast, stay self, sustain. BECAUSE HE TRUSTETH IN THEE = to hie for refuge, figuratively to trust, be confident or sure, be bold, secure, sure, put confidence, make to hope, put trust.
