King James Translation: “Yea, though I walk through the valley of the shadow of death, I will fear no evil, for thou art with me; thy rod and thy staff they comfort me.”

Interlinear Translation: “When I am walking in the valley of the shadow of death not I will fear evil, for you are with me: Your rod and Your staff, they comfort me.

Strong’s Concordance Translation: “YEA = to gather, assemblage, also, even, though, in likewise manner, moreover. THOUGH = indicating causal relations, forasmuch, inasmuch, whereas, doubtless. I WALK = to carry in various senses, bear, bring, pursue, march, cause to run, spread. THROUGH THE VALLEY = a gorge from the lofty sides hence narrow but not a gully or winter torrent. OF THE SHADOW OF DEATH = sink, settle, tumble to die, shade, the grave, figuratively calamity. I WILL FEAR NO = morally not to revere, causative not to frighten, not to affright, not to be made afraid, not to dread. EVIL = adversity, affliction, bad, calamity, displeasure, distress, grief, harm, hurt, sorrow, trouble, wickedness, wretchedness, wrong. FOR THOUS ARE WITH ME = stand, abide, confirm, continue, dwell, be employed, endure, establish, present self, remain, serve, stand, tarry. THY ROD = to branch off, a scion, a stick for punishing, writing, fighting, ruling, walking, figuratively a clan, correction, dart, sceptre, staff, tribe. AND THY STAFF = support, sustenance, a walking stick. THEY COMFORT ME = to sigh, breathe strongly, to be sorry in a favorable sense, to pity, console, or rue, comfort self, ease oneself, repent self.
