King James Translation: “By faith the harlot Rahab perished not with them that believed not, when she had received the spies with peace.”

Interlinear Translation: “By faith Rahab the harlot not did perish with those who disobeyed, having received the spies with peace.”

Strong’s Concordance Translation: “BY FAITH = to convince by argument, to pacify or conciliate by other fair

means, to assent to evidence or authority, to rely by inward certainty, agree, assure, believe, have confidence, be

or wax confident, make friend, obey, persuade, trust, yield. THE HARLOT = a trumpet, figuratively an idolater,

whore, to sell, prostitute, a debaucher, libertine, fornicator, whoremonger. RAHAB = roomy in every direction,

broad, large, at liberty, proud, wide, to broaden, make open wide. PERISHED NOT WITH THEM = not to

destroy, not be slain in company with. THAT BELIEVED NOT = to disbelieve willfully and perversely,

disobedient, obey not, unbelieving. WHEN SHE HAD RECEIVED = accept, take. THE SPIES = conceal down,
