Interlinear Translation: V9: “but for a little some than the angels was made lower we see Jesus on account of the suffering of death with glory and with honour crowned; so that by the grace of God for every one he might taste death.” V10: “For it was becoming to him, for whom are all things and by whom are all things, many sons to glory bringing, the leader of their salvation through sufferings to make perfect.”

 

Strong’s Concordance Translation: V9: “BUT WE SEE JESUS = to look at, behold, beware, look on, look to, perceive, regard, sight, take heed. WHO WAS MADE LOWER = to lessen in rank or influence, decrease, make lower. A LITTLE = short of time, place, quantity, or number, few words, little space, little while. THAN THE ANGELS = to bring tidings, a messenger, a pastor. FOR THE SUFFERING = something undergone, i.e. hardship or pain, subjective an emotion or influence, affection, affliction, motion. OF DEATH = be dead, to die. CROWNED = to adorn with an honorary wreath, to twine or wreathe a chaplet as a badge of royalty, a prize in the public games or a symbol honor generally, but more conspicuous and elaborate than the simple fillet. WITH GLORY = dignity, praise, worship. AND HONOR = a value, i.e. money paid, or valuables, by analogy esteem especially of the highest degree, or the dignity itself, precious, price, some. THAT HE BY THE GRACE OF GOD = graciousness as gratifying of manner or act or spiritual, especially the divine influence upon the heart, and its reflection in the life, including gratitude, acceptable, benefit, favour, gift, liberality, pleasure, thank worthy. SHOULD TASTE DEATH = by implication to eat death, figuratively to experience death. FOR EVERY MAN = all mankind, any of mankind, every mankind, the whole of mankind, all manner of mankind, the whole of mankind, whosoever of mankind. V10: “FOR IT BECAME HIM = call direction, to call toward oneself, i.e. summon, invite, call for, call to, call unto. FOR WHOM ARE ALL THINGS AND BY WHOM ARE ALL THINGS = any thing, every thing, the whole of things, all manner of things, throughly of things, whatsoever things, whole things, whatsoever things.
