Strong’s Concordance Translation: “WHEREFORE = so too, i.e. thus therefore in various relations of consecution as follows, insomuch, as, so that, so then, insomuch, insomuch that, therefore, to. THE LAW = to parcel out especially food or grazing to animals, law through the idea of prescriptive usage, genitive regulation specially of Moses including the volume, also of the Gospel or figuratively a principle. WAS OUR SCHOOLMASTER = a boy leader, i.e. a servant who’s office it was to take the children to school, a tutor, instructor. TO BRING US = rear up to maturity, to cherish or train, nourish. UNTO CHRIST = to or into indicating the point reach or entered, of place, time, purpose, or result abundantly, among, as, at, concerning, continual, far more exceeding, intent, purpose, forth, so much, to the intent that, of one mind, set at one again, throughout, till, to be, the end. THAT WE MIGHT BE JUSTIFIED = to render, show, or regard as just, innocent, free, justifier, be righteous. BY FAITH = persuasion, credence, conviction of religious truth, truthfulness of God, reliance upon Christ for salvation, abstractly constancy in such profession, system of religious gospel truth itself, assurance, belief, believe, fidelity.
