Strong’s Concordance Translation: “WHO = the, this, that, one, which, what, that, which. GAVE = bestow, bring forth, commit, deliver, grant, offer, yield. HIMSELF = thyself, his own, one to another, thyself, themselves, own self. FOR OUR = of us, from us, our company, we. SINS = offence, sinful, to miss the mark and so not share in the prize, i.e. to err, especially morally to sin, for your faults, offend, trespass. THAT HE MIGHT DELIVER US = active to tear out, middle to select, figuratively to release, pluck out, rescue. FROM THE PRESENT = to place on hand, i.e. reflexive impend, be instant, come, be at hand. EVIL = hurtful, evil in effect or influence, figuratively calamitous, diseased, morally culpable, i.e. derelict, vicious, facinorous, mischief, malice, guilt, bad, grievous, harm, lewd, malicious. WORLD = perpetuity, age, course. ACCORDING = down in time or place, concerning, pertaining to, touching, after the manner of, particularly so. TO THE WILL = a determination, i.e. choice, specially purpose, decree, abstractly volition or inclination, desire, pleasure. OF GOD AND OUR FAITHER.
